Firebirds Athletics
Firebirds Athletics offers grades 6–8 students seven UCSSAL-sanctioned sports across three seasons.
Ignite Entrepreneurship Academy is proud to offer Firebirds Athletics for students in grades 6, 7, and 8, competing in the Utah Charter and Small School Athletic League (UCSSAL). Athletics at IEA build on the same qualities that define our school — resilience, teamwork, leadership, and a growth mindset — carrying them from the classroom onto the field, court, and trail.
Sports offered across three seasons:
- Fall: Coed Cross Country, Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer
- Winter: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball
- Spring: Girls Soccer, Boys Volleyball
Please note: each sport listed above will only be offered if it meets IEA's minimum participation requirement for that season. Sports that do not reach the minimum number of registered athletes may be postponed or cancelled, and families will be notified as early as possible.
Registration, eligibility requirements, and program policies are outlined in the Firebirds Athletics Participation Handbook, available on the Parent Resource Portal. Families should complete the Student-Athlete Registration & Consent Packet — including the required Concussion & Head Injury acknowledgment — before a student's first tryout or practice.
